Bravo to our shining stars! We celebrated our Kindergarten and First Grade Honors Students last week. You are building a bright future, and we couldn't be more proud. A huge thank you to the parents who joined us to honor these exceptional students.

The students and teachers at Florence Howard greatly enjoyed the visit from the Senior Bowl players today. The students gained important insights into teamwork and the qualities of a good student, both on and off the field. We appreciate the opportunity to host these outstanding young men, who serve as role models for our students. Thank you for inspiring them to work hard.

Today is the last day to place your order for school apparel. This will be the last order for this school year!!
If you place an order, please include your student's name for delivery so we can easily hand out the orders when they arrive. Orders will be sent home with students the week of February 6.

MCPSS is partnering with Feeding the Gulf Coast to provide a box of non-perishable food to our students in need as a result of the SNAP delay. Parents and guardians of MCPSS students who are experiencing a food crisis in their household may request a one-time box of non-perishable food by completing this form by Wednesday, November 5, at noon:

Visitor Lunches will be $6.00/adult and $5.oo/child.
Prepay Only
Reservations are required.
Order Forms will be sent home on Wednesday, November 12, and must be returned by Friday, November 14.
All other grades will have Christmas Lunch in December.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Our amazing Student Ambassadors and Safety Patrol members just completed their first service project of the year and what a success it was! The students at Florence Howard raised $615 for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Today, we had the honor of presenting the check to Caroline Smith from USA Health, who shared how much this donation means in helping support those fighting breast cancer right here in our community.
I couldn't be prouder of our students for leading with kindness, teamwork, and purpose.
