🎉📣 HONORS DAY PARADE NEXT THURSDAY!
Join us as we celebrate our incredible scholars and their hard work! Families and community members are invited to line the streets along Lyons, Broad, MLK, and Kennedy and cheer on our students. Let’s show our pride and celebrate excellence together! 🎓✨
Bravo to our shining stars! We celebrated our Kindergarten and First Grade Honors Students last week. You are building a bright future, and we couldn't be more proud. A huge thank you to the parents who joined us to honor these exceptional students.
We look forward to recognizing our Second through Fifth Grade students at our Annual Honors Day Parade scheduled for February 12!
The students and teachers at Florence Howard greatly enjoyed the visit from the Senior Bowl players today. The students gained important insights into teamwork and the qualities of a good student, both on and off the field. We appreciate the opportunity to host these outstanding young men, who serve as role models for our students. Thank you for inspiring them to work hard.
We wish each of you success this weekend in the Senior Bowl and in all your future endeavors!
The kids had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school last week.
Good morning!
I hope everyone is keeping warm today. Due to the expected cold temperatures, we are postponing our Parent Meetings scheduled for tonight. We will let you know the new date as soon as possible.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Our amazing Student Ambassadors and Safety Patrol members just completed their first service project of the year and what a success it was! The students at Florence Howard raised $615 for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Today, we had the honor of presenting the check to Caroline Smith from USA Health, who shared how much this donation means in helping support those fighting breast cancer right here in our community.
I couldn't be prouder of our students for leading with kindness, teamwork, and purpose.
